MOONLIGHT PROPHECY - ETERNAL OBLIVION

Shit 1.jpg

Southeastern Pennsylvania neoclassical progressive project, Moonlight Prophecy will soon self release their EP, Eternal Oblivion, on April 15th. Written, performed, and produced by Lawrence Wallace, Eternal Oblivion has an enormous sound, despite it being a one man show. The neoclassical aspect of this project truly radiates throughout. The instrumental layering and thick abrasive guitar tones give Eternal Oblivion a very orchestral feel, paired with face-melting riffs, apparent even in the first 30 seconds of the first track “Spellbound”.

The instrumentation on Eternal Oblivion is top notch, leaving very little to be desired. On the other end of the spectrum, Moonlight Prophecy produces some insanely catchy thrash metal riffs, paired with Lawrence’s unique vocal style on the second track, "Eternal Oblivion", to give the song a very Metallica-esque feel. The catchy riffs and insane solos are sure to hook anyone who enjoys progressive or thrash metal.

After a listen to the three tracks on Eternal Oblivion fans will anxiously wait to see what Lawrence comes up with next. This is a must have EP and fan will not want to sleep on this one! Pick up Eternal Oblivion April 15th!
